It was lights, camera, action at Mesa Community College’s main campus Aug. 13 as a lighting ceremony unveiled its new digital billboards, which are anticipated to generate about $400,000 annually in user fees for its scholarship program for eligible low-income city residents.

College officials, the mayor and council members attended the event celebrating what they hope will also expand awareness the Mesa College Promise Scholarship Program among both potential recipients and potential donors.
