Workers at MerryGoRound, the e-commerce apparel and collectible company coming to the former tank museum in Blairs, will make an average of close to $60,000 a year.

Average salaries will be in the “upper 50s,” Pittsylvania County Economic Development Director Matt Rowe told the Danville Register & Bee.

Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced in a news release Wednesday that MerryGoRound Inc. planned to invest about $10 million and bring 203 new jobs to the 400,000-square-foot facility.

“This is an established, successful company,” Rowe said.

MerryGoRound is based in North Carolina, but Rowe would not say where in the state it was located.
