CHATHAM — Individual members of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors urged the public to continue sending "thoughts and prayers" to Lee Vogler, the Danville council member recovering from a horrific attack last month, amid positive reports of progress.
Those comments came at the conclusion of what was otherwise an extremely light meeting on Tuesday evening as far as agenda items. The only matter of business was the approval of what amounted to yearly routine financial adjustments to the budget after no one spoke at the public hearings.
