Kellogg Community College ranks among the top 2.5% of community colleges nationwide, according to a recent WalletHub report.

The college placed second out of 23 in Michigan and 16th out of 653 across the U.S., according to a community announcement.

WalletHub's list, titled "Best & Worst Community Colleges (2025)," was released Aug. 12. The rankings aim to help prospective students compare institutions based on quality and affordability.

The evaluation considered 18 metrics across three dimensions: cost and financing, education outcomes and career outcomes. Factors included in-state tuition and fees, free community-college education initiatives, student-to-faculty ratios, graduation rates and median salaries of students after attending.
