Tesco to increase price of meal deals again from this week

Tesco is set to increase the price of its meal deal again from this Thursday. This is the fourth rise for some shoppers.

The cost of the popular lunchtime option for Clubcard members will rise from £3.60 to £3.85. Without a Clubcard, the Tesco meal deal will increase from £4 to £4.25.

At present, the most sought-after items in the supermarket meal deal are the Tesco Chicken Club Sandwich as the main, Tesco Egg Protein Pot for a snack, and a 500ml Coca-Cola.

Purchased separately, these would currently set buyers back £6.50, providing Clubcard members with a saving of £2.65. The price of the premium Tesco meal deal will go up from £5 to £5.50 for those with a Clubcard, and from £5.50 to £6 for those without.
