Tesco meal deal price to rise from tomorrow as shoppers hit with third hike

Tesco is set to hike the price of its popular meal deal once again from tomorrow (Thursday, August 21). For Clubcard members, the cost of the favoured lunchtime option will rise from £3.60 to £3.85, while those without a Clubcard will see an increase from £4 to £4.25.

The most sought-after items in the supermarket meal deal currently include the Tesco Chicken Club Sandwich as the main, Tesco Egg Protein Pot for a snack, and a 500ml Coca-Cola.

When bought separately, these items would total £6.50, thus providing Clubcard members with a saving of £2.65. The price of the premium Tesco meal deal will also see an increase, going from £5 to £5.50 for Clubcard holders, and from £5.50 to £6 for non-Clubcard holders.
