HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- It’s a sport nearly anyone can enjoy. A certified pickleball coach with tons of accolades under his paddle has gone from driveway rallies to prison.
"It’s the only sport I know where a grandson or daughter can actually compete against a grandmother or grandfather and the score be competitive," Angelo Rosetti of Hamden said when talking about pickleball.
Like so many others, Angelo has grown to love the sport.
"So, about six years ago, I played with my daughter and wife and my son in our driveway, and I really liked it," Rosetti said.
Rosetti said he has been to about 10 or 11 different prisons, so far.
It may not be what you think, but you see Angelo is part of the national non-profit, PICL, which stands for Pickleball for Incarcerated Communities League.
"Tha
