Tesco is set to hike the price of its popular meal deal from this Thursday. Clubcard members will see the cost of their favourite lunchtime option rise from £3.60 to £3.85, while those without a Clubcard will have to shell out an extra 25p, with the price going up from £4 to £4.25.

The most sought-after items in the supermarket's meal deal are currently the Tesco Chicken Club Sandwich as the main, Tesco Egg Protein Pot for a snack, and a 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola. If bought separately, these would total £6.50, meaning Clubcard members currently save £2.65.
