SULLIVAN’S ISLAND — Charleston entrepreneur Eric Bowman has been charged with first-degree criminal domestic violence in connection with a 2016 incident involving his estranged wife.
Bowman, 45, turned himself in to Sullivan's Island police on Aug. 20 and was booked into the Charleston County jail on the felony charge. Earlier this year in a House floor speech, U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace accused Bowman and three other men , including her ex-fiancé, of being sexual predators. The men have vehemently denied her allegations.
The domestic violence charge came after a video of the 2016 incident reportedly surfaced last week in connection with another investigation. A State Law Enforcement Division agent alerted the victim to the discovery of the video, and she, in turn, filed a complaint with Sul
