(Gray News) – TikTok star John Crawley, a social media influencer known for his fluffy beard and his comedic reactions to people eating food died Monday . He was 47.

Known online as “KingBeardX,” Crawley had a following of over 3.5 million across his various social media accounts on TikTok , Instagram and Facebook .

His friend and former podcast co-host, Anthony Caruso set up a GoFundMe for Crawley , where he said the comedic influencer went to the hospital earlier this month after having trouble breathing.

According to his obituary, Crawley died Aug. 18 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.

While a full obituary has not yet been posted, several friends and fans left thoughtful messages, highlighting Crawley’s infectious laughter and humor.
