The kiss cam is here to stay at Coldplay concerts.
The Brit band’s lead singer, Chris Martin, confirmed as much during a ‘Music of the Spheres World Tour’ stop at Craven Park in Hull, England, on Monday, even joking about last month’s Jumbotron “debacle” that outed Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR exec Kristin Cabot.
“We are so happy to be here,” the frontman began during the Aug. 18 concert, the New York Post reported. “Many of you have written signs. So, I’ll take some time to try and read some signs. Then we’ll see what happens.”
A fan revealed that they had attended the talked-about Coldplay show in Massachusetts last month and the singer thanked them for returning despite the kiss-cam backlash.
