A hoax bomb caller who also threatened to burn down a woman's Coatbridge home has narrowly avoided a prison sentence. ‌

Steven Agnew claimed an explosive device had been placed in the town's Bank Social Club. ‌

The 50-year-old appeared from custody at Airdrie Sheriff Court this week. ‌
