ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. (WCJB) -Alachua County School Board Chair Sarah Rockwell and Vice Chair Tina Certain are meeting in St. Augustine with members of the State Board of Education regarding a public comment incident at the school board’s last meeting.

At the July 31st school board meeting, Jeremy Clepper called School Board chair Sarah Rockwell “vile” and “disgusting” during public comment in response to a controversial social media comment Rockwell made about the death of Hulk Hogan.

While calling for her resignation, Clepper caused an uproar in the meeting outside of his two minutes of allotted speaking time, leading deputies to escort Clepper to the school board attorney, who said he could stay. However, Clepper decided to leave.
