The Advancing Tomorrow Campaign, launched by Flint Hills Technical College in April, is anticipated to be the largest capital fundraising campaign in the college’s history. Mike Crouch, FHTC Vice President of Advancement, said that the campaign has received $2.9 million in the first five months of its $17 million campaign.

Crouch said that private donations accounted for most of the fundraising brought in.

“We're very fortunate that we have a really strong donor base of folks that support FHTC and support the students in what we do,” Crouch said. “We value those relationships tremendously, and so we try to meet with them and share with them the vision for the project and what it is that we hope to accomplish, and the benefits to not only FHTC, but to the community.”
