Authorities investigating the Laney-Walker neighborhood shooting death of a 3-year-old child now want to find and question a man and a woman.

Willie Lewis, 40, described as 5-foot-7 and 175 pounds, is known to frequent the Allen Homes area, could have information about the overnight shooting at the housing development in the 1100 block of New Savannah Road, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

Shynice Cannida, 40, described as 5-foot-6 and 164 pounds, also frequents Allen Homes.

Deputies arrived at Allen Homes about 1:10 a.m. Wednesday, answering a shots-fired call that, by the time officers arrived, had changed to two people being shot, the RCSO said.
