Following on from the fourth sumer heatwave, the UK is currently caught in a bit of a lull weather-wise, with overcast skies and spots of rain blanketing most of the country.

However, new weather forecasts by WXCharts, using its Global Forecast System (GFS) model, show that the nation is about to enjoy temperatures in the high 20s once again.

On August 26, the 10 hottest counties will be Greater London, West Midlands, Warwickshire , Worcestershire , Staffordshire , Leicestershire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and South Glamorgan.

Those areas are expected to enjoy temperatures between 27C and 29C, while areas further north wil remain between 17C and 22C.
