A former Ketchum city councilwoman has gathered enough signatures to place a measure on November ballots asking Ketchum residents to support a council-manager form of government.
Anne Corrock, who served on the Ketchum City Council from 2014-2018, collected 247 signatures that were validated by the county, earning the proposal a spot on the ballot.
Corrock needed 238 signatures, which is 20% of voter turnout from the last election.
The key difference between the council-manager style of government and the council-mayor system currently in use by the city of Ketchum is who is effectively acting CEO of the city.
In the manager system, the city manager would be appointed by the elected Ketchum City Council to carry out its policies, the Express previously reported.
