A man is due in court today on assault charges after remains were found on his property Tuesday in Rehoboth, Massachusetts, as part of the search for his missing, pregnant girlfriend.

Kylee Monteiro, a recent Attleborough High School graduate who was 11 weeks pregnant, hadn't been seen since Aug. 7 at the County Street home of Gregory Groom, a 22-year-old she had been dating.

Groom -- the one who called police to report his girlfriend's disappearance -- was arrested Tuesday after investigators searched his home. He's facing charges of assault and battery on a pregnant person, intimidation of a witness and domestic assault and battery.
