CLEVELAND — Two women were hospitalized after an early-morning stabbing, according to Cleveland police.
The incident happened around 12:25 a.m. Wednesday in the 12400 block of Soika Avenue, police said. Upon arriving, officers found evidence at the scene.
A short time later, police were told that two victims had arrived at Cleveland Fire Station 41, located at 3090 E. 116th Street.
When officers got there, they found two women, ages 32 and 31, suffering from stab wounds.
Cleveland Fire provided immediate medical aid, and Cleveland EMS took both victims to a nearby hospital for further treatment, according to police.
Investigators identified and arrested a 19-year-old woman shortly after the incident. Police said charges have not yet been filed, and the investigation remains ongoing.
