MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WV News) — The master developer of Monongalia County's University Town Centre Economic Opportunity Development District has filed for Chapter 11 reorganization.

In its filing this week in the Northern District of West Virginia Bankruptcy Court, West Ridge Inc. lists up to 49 creditors in its preliminary filing, with between $10 million and $50 million in estimated assets and between $50 million and $100 million in estimated liabilities.

Back in early July, Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced that the West Virginia Division of Highways had entered into an agreement with the Monongalia County Commission to repair and improve the Chaplin Hill Road Exit on I-79 in Morgantown.
