CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — The FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division is accepting applications for its annual Teen Academy.
Rising West Virginia high school juniors and seniors have the chance to experience a day inside the FBI. The 2025 FBI CJIS Division's Teen Academy will be held at the FBI’s CJIS Division in Clarksburg Oct. 14. Interested students must submit their applications by Sept. 12.
The FBI CJIS Division’s Teen Academy program allows high school students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and to investigate the world of law enforcement.
Participants can explore information technology and forensic science as well as receiving age-appropriate lessons on topics such as violence prevention, sextortion and hoax threats to teach them how to stay safe.
