A 32-year-old Kitchener man is facing impaired driving charges after a number of parked cars were hit last month in Goderich.

Huron County OPP said the incident occurred July 13, just before 8 p.m., when officers received a report a vehicle had crashed into three other vehicles. The driver was found shortly afterwards and arrested, police said.

He was taken to the OPP detachment in Clinton to provide breath samples, which resulted in readings over the legal limit, police said.

The accused was charged with dangerous operation, impaired operation — alcohol and drug, and impaired operation over 80.

He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled in Goderich.
