COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- College basketball is still a few months away but the Ohio State women's team has its nonconference schedule set, which includes a matchup against the defending national champions.

The Buckeyes will be searching for their fifth consecutive NCAA tournament berth in the 2025-26 season and that journey will begin on Nov. 9 when they host Coppin State at the Schottenstein Center.

The most notable game on the calendar is on Nov. 16 when Ohio State faces defending champions UConn in Hartford. The last time the two teams met was in the Sweet 16 of the 2023 NCAA tournament when the Buckeyes won 73-61 in Seattle. That is OSU's only win over UConn in seven all-time meetings.
