WASHITA COUNTY, Okla. (KAMR/KCIT) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released information on a fatal Tuesday crash in Washita County, which resulted in the deaths of two people from Amarillo.

According to OHP officials, 21-year-old Cicso Diaz and 20-year-old Israel Obando of Amarillo were traveling westbound on SH 152 near N2340 Road in Washita County on Tuesday.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway to the right and ran over a guard rail and reflective post. The vehicle then entered a broad slide, struck a sign, ran off an embankment into the creek bottom, and came to rest under the "Two Baby Creek" bridge after rolling multiple times.

Both Diaz and Obando died as a result of the crash, according to OHP officials. The crash remained under investigation on Wednesday.
