EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A traveling tribute to our nation’s heroes is making a quick stop in the Tri-State next month.

On September 11, the Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute will be on display at 755 Park Ave. in Madisonville.

The tribute, which is being organized by The American Veterans Traveling Tribute group, runs through September 15 and will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“America’s Freedom Tribute is more than a display- it’s a solemn reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication of our nation’s heroes. Bringing this exhibit to Madisonville gives our community a place to reflect, honor, and say ‘thank you’ to those who gave everything for the freedoms we enjoy,” said Mayor Kevin Cotton.
