SALINE COUNTY, Ill. (KFVS) - A Harrisburg man is accused of removing his ankle monitor and not returning from a court-approved furlough.

Mick J. Chamness, 22, of Harrisburg, was arrested by Carrier Mills police on two additional felony charges, including escape/failure to return from furlough and criminal damage to property.

Police learned he had removed the ankle bracelet and didn’t return from the furlough on Tuesday, August 19.

They found him at a home on Railroad Street and took him into custody.

He’s being held at the Saline County Jail.
