No, it's not the Ring of Honor , but Florida football announced that former coach Urban Meyer will be honored with an on-campus salute during UF's regular season finale at The Swamp on Nov. 22 against rival Tennessee for his induction into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame.
Meyer, 61, is the 14 th overall Gator and fifth Florida coach to enter the College Football Hall of Fame, joining Steve Spurrier, Doug Dickey, Ray Graves and Charlie Bachman.
As coach of the Florida Gators from 2005-10, Meyer posted an overall record of 65-15 and a SEC mark of 36-12. In six seasons, Meyer guided the Gators to a pair of national championships (2006 and 2008), two Southeastern Conference Championships, three SEC Eastern Division crowns and six-straight January bow
