The never-ending summer roster churn was in full swing Wednesday as the Buffalo Bills made a series of moves, the bulk of them designed to make sure they have enough warm bodies to play in the preseason finale Saturday at Tampa Bay.

The most significant move was the release of kicker Caden Davis which means that Tyler Bass is finally ready to get back to practice and kick in the game after he missed nearly the entire training camp with a sore pelvis .

“I hope so, that's the goal,” coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday. “We have a schedule that's been laid out with his rehab as well, and he's going to inch forward this week.
