On the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, the state of Alabama will be hosting the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Never Forget Mobile Exhibit . It will be the first-ever stop in Alabama for the traveling exhibit.

The City of Opelika is partnering with the East Alabama Regional Training Association to host the exhibit September 11–16. Its arrival will coincide with the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The exhibit will be at 301 Lake Condy Road, Opelika.

The official description of the exhibit reads:
