UPDATE: John Quirk, who was the subject of a #TNSilverAlert , has been located in Texas, TBI says.

PREVIOUS STORY: The Knox County Sheriff's Office has issued a #TNSilverAlert for 84-year-old John Quirk, who may be traveling through Alabama.

Quirk is described as 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He may be driving a silver 1997 Toyota RAV4 with Nevada license plate 459TXL, TBI says.

John has a medical condition that could affect his ability to return safely without help.
