BUFFALO, N.Y. — Erie County District Attorney Michael Keane announced a Tonawanda man has been found guilty of multiple charges stemming from a shooting in 2023 .

State Supreme Court Justice Paul B. Wojtaszek found Detrick D. Gray, 42, guilty of Attempted Assault in the first degree, one count of Assault in the second degree, one count of Grand Larceny in the third degree, and one count of Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle in the third degree. Justice Wojtaszek made his decision Wednesday morning following a five-day trial.

DA Keane says in November 2023, the female victim took her vehicle to Gray's auto repair business near the 800 block of East Lovejoy Street in Buffalo. Gray agreed to fix the vehicle for $1,500 but stopped communicating with her once he received payment.
