LONDON, Ky. — A Drug Enforcement Administration visit in eastern Kentucky unearthed not only narcotics, but what appeared to be a "torture chamber" along with human and animal remains, according to federal court documents.

Scottie Shelton is facing federal drug charges for possessing over 500 grams of meth.

According to a federal criminal complaint, the DEA was investigating recent connections between Shelton and targets in other DEA investigations into drug dealing. On Aug. 12, the DEA arrived at Shelton's home on Southern Oakes Road in London, Kentucky. They were there in an attempt to talk to them about the drug trafficking investigations.
