SHREVEPORT, La. -- Three men are in custody following their arrests Tuesday night in connection with a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a young mother the night before.

Shreveport police had Deceldrion Gay, 19, in custody Monday night not long after the shooting. Violent Crimes detectives interviewed him, and that led to the apprehension of two other suspects -- Tywann Gibson, 17, and Rodney Thomas Jr., 19.

All are charged with second-degree murder in the death of Labriesha Patterson, 28.

Gibson is additionally charged with simple escape. He's held on bonds totaling $1,025,000.
