LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson slammed acting U.S. attorney Sigal Chattah on Wednesday, calling her “unfit to serve” after she blamed him and a judge for allowing an accused child sex predator from Israel to leave the country.
Earlier this month, police in Las Vegas arrested Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38, on a charge of luring a child with a computer for sex acts. The arrest was one of eight in a sting operation involving local and federal departments.
A post on an Israeli government website indicates Alexandrovich works as the head of the Technological Defense Division at the Israel National Cyber Directorate.
