LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Overnight lane restrictions and ramp closures along the I-15 are set to continue throughout the week as part of the ongoing I-15 South Widening Project, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 2, to Friday, Sept. 5, southbound I-15 will be reduced to one lane from Warm Springs to Sloan Road nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. There will also be intermittent southbound I-15 ramp closures between Blue Diamond Road and Starr Avenue during this time, according to NDOT.

The restrictions are necessary for asphalt milling and paving, NDOT said. The schedule is subject to change due to weather and other factors.

Drivers are asked to use caution while traveling through the work zone and to take alternate routes if possible.
