FERNLEY, Nev. (KOLO) - A man who caught law enforcement’s attention by falling off a standing motorcycle in Fernley at 12:53 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, was arrested after giving chase, according to a Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
During a search of his person, deputies found 35-year-old Justin Johnson of Fernley had 31.7 grams of marijuana and 1.49 pounds of methamphetamine on him, the post said. The methamphetamine tested positive, the post said.
Johnson was booked into the Lyon County Jail and charged with resisting peace officer(s), disturbing the peace, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container (marijuana), and trafficking a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
His bail was set at $103,430.
The incident unfolded in the 1000 block of Rimfield Drive in Fernley.
