GERLACH, Nev. (KOLO) - The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a single white adult male that happened in Black Rock City on Saturday, Aug. 30, according to a statement from the Burning Man Project.

Burning Man is cooperating with law enforcement.

The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office investigates all deaths that occur in its jurisdiction.

“The safety and well-being of our community are paramount,” the Burning Man Project statement said.

In 2024, 39-year-old Kendra Frazer died at Burning Man.

The Sheriff’s Office is the primary source for further information.

Burners are asked not to interfere with law enforcement activity, the statement said.
