DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Jamison Fisher, the man charged in the death of Trudy Appleby , is facing charges in an unrelated drug case.
On Monday, Fisher’s public defender filed a motion to withdraw from his drug case citing a conflict of interest.
In the motion, attorney Miguel Puentes wrote a state witness is currently being represented by the State Public Defender’s Office, which potentially creates a conflict of interest.
On Wednesday, a judge granted the motion to withdraw and appointed a new attorney, Beau Bergmann.
