ROCK ISLAND Co., Ill. (KWQC) - A woman charged in a fatal stabbing of an East Moline man in 2020, has pleaded guilty to lesser charges.

Precious N. Sims , 25, pleaded guilty to armed robbery, a class X felony, according to Rock Island County court records. She previously faced a first-degree murder charge.

Sims has a status hearing set for Sept. 4, court records show. The judge granted her motion for release and she will be on home confinement and can only leave her home for doctor appointments and court hearings.

Her co-defendant, Kerry Clark is set to have a pretrial conference on Thursday.

The victim, Rodney J. Griffin , 64, of East Moline was found dead by a co-worker who came to check on him at his home in the 800 block of Avenue of the Cities in East Moline on December 1
