BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC) - Police have made multiple arrests in connection to a Burlington robbery.

On July 12, officers with the Burlington Police Department started investigating after reports of a robbery and a shooting, according to a media release.

After talking with witnesses, police arrested 20-year-old Ali Mwalimu of Cedar Rapids.

On Aug 15, police took a juvenile into custody regarding the robbery.

Another suspect, 20-year-old Jaki Johnson, was identified after further investigation.

On Wednesday afternoon, Johnson was arrested after being spotted a block from his home, according to a media release.

Police searched a home in the 300 block of North 4th Street, and Johnson was taken to the Des Moines County Jail and charged with:

Two counts of felony robbery in the first degre
