MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department has arrested two brothers allegedly responsible for aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.

Back on October 25, 2024, two women reported to MPD that Anthony Gaines, the son of one of the women and brother of the other, assaulted them in their home on the 5200 block of Flowering Peach Drive.

Gaines pushed one of the women after being told to clean up. As the other woman tried to call for police on her phone, he took her phone and slammed it on the floor.

He then grabbed an assault-style rifle and fired ten shots in the air outside on the porch before his brother, Antwon, chased him from the residence.
