Howard Payne University celebrated a record year in gifts to the university, with more than $12.39 million received from June 2024 to May 2025. This marks the highest fundraising year in university history.

Significant gifts were received for campus improvements, totaling $5.99 million that included projects like the Ben and Bertha Mieth Outdoor Pavilion and Woody and Miki Martin Sand Volleyball Courts. More than $800,000 was given for academic programming, which benefited the Center for Student Success and School of Nursing. A total of $549,000 was given to support Yellow Jacket athletics to enhance the student-athlete experience. Additionally, $4.2 million was provided by supporters for student scholarships, which makes a Christ-centered, quality education more affordable.
