SALT LAKE CITY — Utah is preparing its 2026 State Water Plan, a long-term strategy to manage one of the state’s most critical resources, and residents are being invited to weigh in.
The Utah Division of Water Resources announced a series of “ Water Talks ” — interactive meetings scheduled across the state from August through October — to gather feedback from local communities.
“Updating the State Water Plan is a key step in preparing for Utah’s water future,” said Candice Hasenyager, director of the division. “These Water Talks will help ensure the plan reflects both local issues and statewide priorities.”
