A Bristol man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly abandoned a stolen vehicle in a Target parking lot in Southington.

Officers were alerted to a stolen Ford Expedition in the area of West Street around 5:50 p.m. on Monday, according to the Southington Police Department .

Officers responded to the area and located the vehicle parked unoccupied at the south side of the Target parking lot located at 600 Executive Boulevard South, police said.

An investigation revealed that 36-year-old Jose Torres, along with another adult and two juveniles, allegedly arrived at the store in the stolen vehicle. According to police, it was later learned that the group left the store as officers arrived and walked north toward the exit of the parking lot.
