COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- This afternoon, we have been tracking a few heavy downpours. These scattered storms will begin to fizzle out later tonight.

Thursday: Temperatures will remain warm for Thursday afternoon, with readings sitting in the lower 90s. After a clear start, another round of isolated storms is expected tomorrow afternoon.

Weekend: A front is set to enter this weekend, which means more rain and cooler temperatures. More widespread storms will be possible on Friday and will continue through Sunday. Afternoon temperatures will drop into the mid-80s on Saturday.

Next Week: Unfortunately, the cooler weather won't last too long. Lower 90s will return next week as we welcome clear skies again. A second front enters in the middle of next week. Afternoon temperatures are expected to
