AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County deputies say they are looking for a man wanted in connection to a shooting.

Deputies say 26-year-old Jalen Christopher Thomas is wanted in reference to a shooting that happened on Wednesday at Waffle House, 103 Talbot Drive.

Thomas is described as 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Multiple jailers injured after responding to cell of woman who left daughter at store

A woman who was arrested after leaving her daughter in an Evans store by herself will receive additional charges after multiple jailers were injured responding to her cell.

Deputies say he is known to frequent the Tobacco Road area and Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway.
