VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - Drugs, money, and tools indicative of narcotics sales were seized during a traffic stop Friday afternoon.

At about 4 p.m. on Friday, August 15, detectives with the Valdosta Police Department (VPD) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 41-year-old Samuel McBurrough.

While speaking with detectives, a clear bag containing suspected cocaine and Alpha-PVP, also known as Flakka, fell out of McBurrough’s shorts, said VPD.

Police say the suspected narcotics were packaged in a manner consistent with narcotics sales.

Detectives and members of the VPD K9 Unit executed a search warrant at McBurrough’s residence, where they located more narcotics, as well as tools indicative of narcotics sales.

In total, detectives seized over 1 ounce of cocaine, a quantity of Alph
