OPELIKA, Ala. (WRBL) - First responders are on the scene of a vehicle versus train crash at the 8th Street Railroad Crossing. At this time, it is not clear if there are any injuries. Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area while the crash is investigated.

Because of the collision, several railroad crossings are currently blocked, including: • 7th Street • 8th Street • 9th Street • Talladega Street and 17th Street

Drivers are asked to take alternate routes until the scene is cleared.
