LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - More typical August weather is on tap for Thursday and Friday with hot and humid conditions expected for most of the state. A more prolonged stretch of cooler and more comfortable conditions are set to arrive into the weekend and last through the week next week.

Into Wednesday evening, skies will become mainly clear with dry conditions across the state. Skies will remain mainly clear overnight tonight and into Thursday morning. Like we’ve seen the past few mornings, some areas of patchy dense fog will be possible into early Thursday morning.
