Newly released video shows a 30-ton construction vehicle barrel out of control through an intersection in Milford, Massachusetts, on Friday, clipping one vehicle and narrowly avoiding a pickup truck at a stop light.

The incident was caught on traffic cameras, which Milford police shared Wednesday. The footage appears to show the bucket loader headed straight for the pickup truck stopped on Cedar Street, only to change direction when it hits a "Do not enter" sign and go over a curb.

The vehicle, which police said had a brake failure while going down Fortune Boulevard, slammed into a utility pole at the intersection.

"It's a miracle no one was killed or seriously injured," Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino said in
